Wrap the glass in bubble wrap and box into a cardboard box. I recommend cutting extra cardboard and doubling all sides of the box. Add padding to void areas inside the box (and packing material such as newspaper or styrofoam peanuts). Seal the box well and label "Fragile - Glass - This side up". Glass should always be set on edge and not laid flat. Plumbing insullation from your local HD or Lowes is a good and inexpensive padding to tape onto the edges of the glass. Insure the shipping. Insurance will cost an extra $15-30 but is well worth it. I will return the glass to you in the same package. Ship with any carrier such as UPS, Federal Express or the US Postal Service. Standard Freight Trucking is not a good option because large trucks cannot pull in and turn around at my current location.

What will it cost to restore my classic car glass?
We work on an hourly scale. Every piece of glass we have restored is an individual. Depth of scratches, amount of scratches and many other things can affect the time it takes to complete the job. Please email photos to GlassRestoration@gmail.com. Always include all of your contact information with your shipment, as well as the information about the car. When I receive the glass and inspect it, I will email or fax an estimate to you to sign before the work begins. You will be given my cellular phone number so you can call me to discuss your project.
Check is preferred. I ship as soon as the check clears. With modern banking, this is usually 2-3 days. I also accept Visa, Master Card, American Express and Discover. I have to pay for the ability to accept credit cards, so I have a convenience fee of 3% added for credit cards. You are paying for a service, so no sales tax is added.
A Great Option
Come and visit Sarasota and drop the glass off to me. Florida is always a good destination, and Sarasota has the #1 rated beach in the nation, Siesta Key Beach, just 15 minutes from my location. Orlando, with all the theme parks is just 2 hours away. South Beach in Miami is only 3 and 1/2 hours away. Take a cruise out of Tampa, Miami, or Port Canaveral, all within 3 and 1/2 hours. Daytona beach and the Daytona International Speedway are equally close. I will restore your glass while you are enjoying what Florida has to offer. Scheduling in advance is required so that I may have the time alotted for your classic car glass to be restored.
Please call or email me before shipping so I will expect your arrival or shipment and be ready to receive your glass.
